Year3 Beechworth Excursion

Year 3 students are provided with the opportunity to participate in an overnight excursion to Beechworth, Victoria. Activities on this excursion are designed to build on the History and Geography learning which has taken place throughout Semester 1 and 2. In addition to these valuable experiences that build on their learning in the classroom, students will have the opportunity to build positive relationships with their peers through the experience of the excursion.

Currently a tentative booking has been made for Year 3 students to experience various sites and venues around Beechworth, Glenrowan and Bonegilla with accommodation being provided at The Old Priory in Beechworth from Thursday, 12th September 2024 to Friday, 13th September 2024. While visiting all sites and venues students will be supervised by teachers, support staff and tour guides on either guided tours or self-guided visits. Please note specific details below:

Accommodation: The Old Priory, Beechworth Victoria

Date: departing on Thursday 12th September, returning Friday 13th September

Cost: Approximately $285 - $315 The final payment amount will be determined by the number of students attending.

First Payment: $100 due on or before 24th May 2024

Final Payment: due by Friday 16th August 2024
