Getting to and from school safely

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

As a parent or carer, it’s your responsibility to get your child to and from school safely. Student safety is our priority.

Keep our school community safe by:

• driving and parking safely, even if it means parking further away and walking the rest of the way to school
• being a good role model
• never calling your child from across the road
• following speed signs
• not making U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school
• using the safest place to cross the road.

Visitor parking, pick up and drop off information

We have a designated school drop off and pick up zone in the top staff car park which allows parents/carers to drive through and pick up and drop off their children at the beginning and end of each school day.

We kindly ask that parents, carers and visitors do not park in the staff car parks. Please use the designated carpark near the top gate, next to Ernest Grant Oval, to help us maintain a safe and accessible environment for everyone. Street parking is also available, but please do not park in the school bus zones.
