Year 2 Swimming Program

Date: Monday 10 to Friday 21 November

Time: 11.45am to 2.30pm

In Term 4, all Year 2 students will have the opportunity to take part in an Intensive Swimming and Water Safety Program. This program will be delivered by qualified swim instructors from SwimTech Albury. Year 2 teachers and support staff will accompany students to and from the pool each day to provide supervision and support. The program is free and will run over ten consecutive school days, from Monday 10th November to Friday 21st November.

P & C Colour Fun Run

Date: Saturday 15 November

Time: from 10am

This colour run will be a day filled of plenty of fun, laughs and hopefully some sunshine! Slushie machines, sausage sizzle, icy poles, face painting and plenty more to see and do. We would

Each Run session is stated as follows:

1st - 10:00am

2nd - 10:30am

3rd - 11:00am

4th - 11:30am

5th - 12:00pm

Each participant is welcome to run their chosen session twice. One lap is approx 1.8km.

All children under 12 must be supervised by a parent.

There will be outdoor games, face painting, sausage sizzle available for all participants.

Kindergarten Pevan and Sarah Concert

Date: Monday 24 November

Time: 9.45am to 12.15pm

During Term 4 we are excited to offer our Kindergarten students the opportunity to attend a Pevan and Sarah Concert at the Albury Entertainment Centre. Pevan and Sarah are qualified teachers and experienced musicians who are passionate about creating fun, engaging and educational videos and resources for young learners. In Kindergarten, our classes access resources from Pevan and Sarah daily, across a range of Key Learning Areas. Pevan and Sarah are coming to Albury to provide our little learners with a live edutainment extravaganza that's bursting at the seams with their favourite songs.

During Semester 2, Stage 1 classes have been learning about The Past, Preserving the Past and Changing Technology for our History Unit in Human Society and its Environment (HSIE). To compliment what students have been learning in class, we are conducting an excursion to the Albury Library Museum and Murray Conservatorium.
