All students are invited to participate in the Albury ANZAC March.

ALBURY ANZAC DAY THURSDAY 25TH APRIL 2024
SCHOOL ASSEMBLY AND DISPERSAL ALL SCHOOLS: So as to ensure the safety of school children at the time of assembly for the 9.00am March, I ask schools to follow the direction of Marshals to ensure the safety of all participants and form-up by 8.45am, as follows:
PRIMARY SCHOOLS: To form-up by 8.45am in Macauley Street on the north side of Dean Street in alphabetical order. The first school to be level with Dean Street. Primary schools are to follow along behind the High Schools.
WEARING OF MEDALS: A reminder that children wearing medals of family members are to wear them on the right breast. Only a veteran may wear their medals over their heart on the left breast.
END OF MARCH: All schools are to turn left into Townsend Street. All schools are to continue down Townsend Street towards the intersection with Smollett Street to ensure there is no congestion at the end of the March. All schools are requested to keep closed-up and to march at least four abreast on the right side of Dean Street. School staff are asked to please ensure children are mindful of the occasion and show respect for the opportunity provided to join with Veterans for the March. Vehicles will form part of the March and due safety must be exercised in the assembly area.
