Co-curricular programs
At Thurgoona Public School, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular activities offer students a variety of opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and contribute to the school community.
Student Representative Council (SRC)
The Student Representative Council (SRC) empowers students to have a voice in our school community. Through the SRC, many improvements have been made to our school environment . Additionally, our SRC coordinate fundraisers for local and national not-for-profit community organisations.
Community Involvement
Each year, our school participates in the ANZAC Day March in Albury as well as hosting school ceremonies for ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day. We support the Lions Club by providing students the opportunity to participate in their public speaking competitions. We also participate in local and national events such as Harmony Day, Clean Up Australia Day and NAIDOC Week.
Sport
We offer a diverse range of sports to cater to every student's interests and abilities. In addition to class sport, students have the opportunity to try out for local, regional and state representation in a variety of sports. Throughout the year, we participate in a variety of gala days with other schools.

Students have the opportunity to participate in lunchtime clubs, run by teachers. Options include chess, choir, drama, dance, gardening, coding and robotics.
