Years 3 to 6 Swimming Program

Swim School clip art

In Term 2, students in Years 3-6 will have the opportunity to participate in an intensive swimming program. Stage 2 and Stage 3 students will travel by bus to Gould Swimming Academy for one 40-minute lesson each day over two weeks, beginning in Term 2 Week 5 (Monday-Thursday) and continuing in Week 6 (Monday-Thursday). The program will run for eight days over the two-week period.

The total cost of the program will be $110 per student. This covers entry into the pool, swimming lessons and the cost of the bus. There has been an increase of price from previous years due to a rise in cost from Gould's Swimming Academy and a price increase for the cost of bus hire.

This is not a learn to swim program, but rather an opportunity to improve students' swimming abilities. All students, regardless of ability level, will be catered for and are able to participate.

Please complete permission and finalise payment via Sentral no later than the end of Week 1, Thursday 2nd May. This is to allow time for organisation of the program.

If you require financial assistance with the payment, please phone the school to make an appointment with the Principal to discuss the matter. This process is highly confidential.

Note: Due to limited availability at the Gould Swimming Academy, students who return permission notes and pay will be given first priority.
