Kindergarten Halve Waste Excursion

This semester the students in kindergarten are participated in a Geography unit called 'Places'. To compliment this learning, Kindergarten will be participating in an Education Program run by the Albury Waste Management Centre. This program endeavors to help students understand the ways in which they can contribute to the care of their environment. This excursion is at no cost to families.

Kindergarten students have the opportunity to participate in an excursion to the Albury Waste Management Site. Students will be picked up by bus and taken on a tour of the Halve Waste Centre. The students will further their understanding of waste and how they can help the environment by recycling.

Excursion dates:

K Tea Tree will visit the Albury Waste Centre in Week 5 - Monday 26th May. Bus pick up at 9:30am and will return 11:15am.

K Desert Oak will visit the Albury Waste Centre in Week 5 - Tuesday 27th May. Bus pick up at 9:30am and will return 11:15am.

K Mallee will visit the Albury Waste Centre in Week 5 - Wednesday 28th May. Bus pick up at 9:30am and will return 11:15am.

K Stringybark will visit the Albury Waste Centre in Week 5 - Thursday 29th May. Bus pick up at 9:30am and will return 11:15am.

What to wear: Please note that the children will be expected to wear full school uniform on the days of their excursion.

Cost: There is no cost for this excursion.
